Originally built at the Forks of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers in 1810, Fort Gibraltar was a North West Company fur trade post that also helped control the pemmican trade. Festival du Voyageur inc, a non-profit organization, rebuilt today’s Fort on the east side of the Red River in 1978. Step back in time as costumed interpreters show you around and share tales of what life was like here in the Red River valley from 1815 to 1821.
