Volunteers
Heritage Winnipeg will present the seventh annual Doors Open Winnipeg May 29 & 30, 2010. This celebratory weekend event is a superb opportunity to discover the extraordinary architecture and untold stories in heritage buildings all over the city.
Heritage Winnipeg is looking for volunteers to act in a variety of capacities during this weekend: greeting visitors, acting as a guide, etc. Training sessions will be provided and there will be a choice of shifts to be worked. We also try to accommodate volunteers who have a preference for a particular building.
Volunteer Orientation
Two volunteer orientations will take place on May 18 and 19 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm in the Carol Shields Room at the Millennium Library (251 Donald Street). All volunteers need to attend one of the two orientations.
Volunteer Reception
Thanks to the Millenium Library for their sponsorship of the Doors Open Winnipeg Volunteer Reception.

The volunteer reception will be held on Sunday, May 30th at the Kings Head Pub from 6:00pm - 8:00pm following the Doors Open event.
NOTE: Only volunteers from the event will be admitted to the volunteer reception.
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the online registration form. Please include in the comments section what shifts you are able to work, and someone will contact you to confirm. Thanks to all of our volunteers who help make our event an overwhelming success each year.
